Hotel accommodations
Rooms are being held at Rockwater Secret Cove Resort until May 31, 2012; Please contact the hotel directly to arrange rooms.
If you would like to stay elsewhere there are other hotels/b&b's in the area, take a look at the sunshine coast tourism site at: http://www.sunshinecoastcanada.com/
Anything in the Halfmoon Bay, Secret Cove area will be within a couple minute drive. Farther along but with more options you can look at Sechelt or even Gibsons.
Ferry Information
To get to Halfmoon Bay you will have to take the Langdale ferry from Horseshoe Bay (West Vancouver)
The crossing time is: 40 minutes
Since August 3rd is the Friday of a long weekend we recommend getting to the terminal early or better yet making a reservation (see www.bcferries.com)
Please be aware that the last ferry from the coast back to the mainland is generally no later than 10:00 PM, so if you would like to stay for dinner and post-dinner celebrations you will have to spend the night on the coast .... but I promise it will be worth it!! ;)

Some of our favorites:
- Take a hike from Egmont to the Skookumchuck Narrows and check out the crazy boaters trying to go up the rapids!
- Stop by Gibsons Landing on your way up from the ferry to check out the "most livable town in the world" !!
- Take a seat by the beach at Davis Bay outside of Sechelt and watch people fishing off the wharf or do some beachcombing ... Hungry? Try out the McLeod favourite: "Beach Buoy" for some fish and chips!
